CAF Invests in Clean Energy Fund for Latin America

The Latin American Development Bank (CAF) is taking a stake in a private equity fund specializing in renewable energy and clean technology projects in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.

4 November 2011: The Latin American Development Bank (CAF) has announced that it will make a US$10 million equity investment in the Latin America CleanTech Fund II. The Fund is a private equity fund that invests in renewable energy and clean technology projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, primary focusing on Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
