Analytical Summary of GSP Dialogue Aims to Inform UNCSD Preparations

The two-page summary, issued shortly before the 1 November 2011 deadline for making submissions to the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) Compilation Document, aims to inform States and intergovernmental processes including the UNCSD and its preparatory process.

28 October 2011: The President of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) circulated an analytical summary, prepared by the Secretariat of the High-level Panel on Global Sustainability (GSP), of the recent informal interactive dialogue between members of the Panel and member States.

According to the letter from UNGA President Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, the two-page summary, issued shortly before the 1 November 2011 deadline for making submissions to the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) Compilation Document, aims to inform States and intergovernmental processes including the UNCSD and its preparatory process.
