Additional Corrections to French Version of Nagoya Protocol Proposed

The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has circulated a list of additional corrections to the French version of the original text of the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization (ABS).

Objections must be communicated to the Secretary-General by 30 January 2012.

8 November 2011: The UN Secretary-General, acting as depository of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), has circulated a list of additional corrections to the French version of the original text of the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization (ABS).

A CBD notification lists the proposed corrections. Objections must be communicated to the Secretary-General by 30 January 2012. [CBD Notification (in French)]
