44 Countries (to date) Planning to Present VNRs at HLPF 2018

With the preparation of the 44 VNRs planned for the coming year, a total of 109 countries will have conducted initial reviews of their SDG implementation planning and practice.

31 August 2017: As of the final day of August 2017, 44 countries have officially indicated their intention to present a voluntary national review (VNR) at the July 2018 meeting of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF).

The countries that have been added to the UN sustainable development knowledge platform list of countries presenting VNRs in 2018 are as follows: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Australia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Benin, Bhutan, Cabo Verde, Canada, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Greece, Guinea, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Jamaica, Kiribati, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Latvia, Lebanon, Mali, Malta, Mexico, Namibia, Niger, Paraguay, Poland, Qatar, Republic of Congo, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sri Lanka, State of Palestine, Sudan, Switzerland, Uruguay and Viet Nam.
