XII UNESCO Creative Cities Network Annual Meeting

Krakow and Katowice, respectively Creative Cities of Literature and Music in Poland, and also jointly referred to as “Krakowice,” will host the 12th UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Creative Cities Network (UCCN) annual meeting from 12-15 June 2018.

The UCCN 12th annual meeting in Krakowice is themed ‘Creative Crosscroads,’ building on the idea of cross-sectoral cooperation between Creative Cities. The event will provide an opportunity for members to showcase, share and discuss joint initiatives, as well as to identify concrete projects, policies and programmes putting culture and creativity at the core of sustainable urban development, and examples of the local and international implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, notably its SDG 11 (sustainable cities and communities).
