The 24th World Mining Congress will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 18-21 October 2016, and will consider the theme, “Mining in a World of Innovation”. The World Mining Congress takes place every three years. The event aims to promote and support, both technically and scientifically, cooperation for the national and international development of mineral areas and resources, and to implement a global information network concerning mineral science, technology, economy, occupational health and safety and environmental protection.
