The World Health Summit 2024 will bring together stakeholders from politics, science, the private sector, and civil society from around the world to set the agenda for a healthier future by inspiring innovative solutions for better health and well-being for all. The Summit aims to: improve health worldwide; find answers to health challenges, guided by science; and promote the global health debate in the spirit of the SDGs.
The World Health Summit is an international strategic forum for global health. The Summit is held annually in Berlin, Germany, under the patronage of the German Chancellor, the President of France, the President of the European Commission, and the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Topics to be addressed in 2024 include access to essential medicine, big data, biomedical research, climate change and health, digital innovation, drugs and vaccines, evolutionary medicine, pandemic preparedness, and planetary health. Participants will also discuss a Global Action Plan for Healthy Lives and Well-being for All, global health security, health systems strengthening, and universal health coverage (UHC).
