The Workshop will focus on preparations for presenting the proposal for a Chemicals in Products (CiP) Programme, within the context of the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM), to the fourth session of the International Conference of Chemicals Management (ICCM4) slated for 28 September – 2 October 2015. The Workshop will have before it the latest draft of the proposal and documents intended to support the CiP Programme in its implementation. CiP is envisioned as a multi-stakeholder project led by UNEP aimed at improving the exchange of information on chemicals contained in products and proposing cooperative actions to address gaps in the current levels of information access.
