The UN Environment Programme-World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC) and the UNEP Division on Environmental Law and Conventions are hosting a workshop prior to the fifth meeting of the Convention on Biological Diversity's (CBD) Working Group on Review of Implementation (WGRI-5). Titled 'Improving coordination and cooperation in the implementation of the biodiversity-related conventions at national and regional levels,' the workshop will encourage participants to share and discuss the preliminary findings from a questionnaire on cooperation among the six biodiversity-related multilateral environment agreements (MEAs) at the national level, and to engage in a discussion and analysis of the trends highlighted by each of the five thematic sections of the questionnaire.
