In conjunction with the World Ocean Council (WOC) Business Forum on Ocean Policy and Planning, WOC and the EU 'Ocean Certain' research project are organizing a workshop under the theme, 'Changing Oceans and Industry Futures: How Will Changes to Ocean Properties and Processes Affect Ocean Business?'. Fifteen ocean industry representatives will gather to give input to the research project, engage in participatory mapping of the industry, construct a future scenario and learn how the 'Ocean Certain' project will move forward with the insights gained at the workshop. The objectives of the event are both to inform industry representatives of the changes in ocean properties, processes and systems and to hear industry members' views on how these changes will affect their business.
