Why Are the SDGs Relevant for the Private Sector?

This event will enable the private sector to discuss partnerships and implementation in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to meet and connect with high-level UN officials. More specifically, the meeting will address the relevance of the SDGs to the private sector, and how it can profit from contributing to their implementation. The event is geared towards companies, representatives of corporate social responsibility within companies, diplomats, executives and senior managers who seek to further their understanding about the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This event is being organized by the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in association with the Rotary Club Genève International and the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services.
