The webinar “Guide to strengthening gender integration in climate finance projects” will present key findings and recommendations from a new guide entitled “Strengthening gender integration in climate finance projects,” which presents a framework of recommendations for strengthening gender integration in climate finance projects.
The guide was produced by the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN), SouthSouthNorth (SSN) and the Women’s Environment and Development Organization (WEDO), and aims to support climate finance project planners in strengthening gender integration. It provides a framework and examples for strengthening gender integration. This webinar, timed to coincide with International Women's Day on 8 March, will feature the report’s authors, interviewees and experts and aims to leave attendees with enhanced recognition of the need for integrating gender equality concepts and practices, and an understanding of the recommendations for strengthening gender integration at the project level.
