The OECD eChemPortal provides access to scientific information on chemical substances of regulatory relevance. It includes over 800,000 substance records from over 34 databases. The online portal allows countries and companies to share work and ensure resource efficiencies. One outcome is that this information sharing leads to reduced animal testing.
