The two branches of the UNFCCC Compliance Committee will meet on 4 September 2014. The enforcement branch's meeting will be its 25th, while the facilitative branch will gather for its 16th meeting. The 15th plenary of the Compliance Committee will follow from 4-5 September 2014. The enforcement branch is tasked with determining consequences for lack of compliance under the Kyoto Protocol, while the facilitative branch's role is to promote compliance.
