Organized by the UN Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) Forestry and Timber Section, this one-day expert workshop is linked to the implementation of the Rovaniemi Action Plan for the Forest Sector in a Green Economy. Participants will analyze the consistency of the present forest sector valuation systems with approaches developed by other sectors in the context of green economy and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The objective of the workshop is to identify synergies and differences between the work in green economy evaluation processes and the forest sector work in that area.
