The 74th session of the Committee on Forests and the Forest Industry (COFFI 74) of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) will review and guide activities in data collection and analysis, policy support, capacity building and communication, and will focus on the commercial aspects of forest-based industries. It will also contribute to the Strategic review of the Integrated Programme of Work 2014-2017 and provide recommendations for the future programme. It will be followed by a workshop, on 'Measuring the value of forests in a green economy,' on 21 October 2016.
