Co-sponsored by the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), this workshop aims at building awareness and knowledge among negotiators on the trade dimension of Rio+20, and will address the full range of issues at the interface of trade, the green economy and sustainable development. The workshop is divided into five modules on: addressing global challenges; review of progress in implementing Agenda 21, Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) and the World Trade Organization (WTO); trade in a greening global market; promoting green growth and links with trade; and unlocking opportunities at Rio+20.
