UNCTAD Trade and Development Board: 62nd Executive Session

The 62nd Executive Session of the UN Trade and Development Board will discuss issues of interest for the least developed countries (LDCs). It will include a High-Level Panel on Transforming Rural Economies, consisting of: Dogo Seck, Secretary General, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Senegal; Kako Nubukpo, Former Minister of Long-term Strategy and Public Policy Evaluation, Togo; Alexandros Sarris, former Director of the Trade and Markets Division, Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO); and Jean-Louis Arcand, Centre for Finance and Development, Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. The Executive Board also will discuss: the LDCs Report 2015 – 'Transforming Rural Economies;' the Trade and Development Report 2015 – 'Making the International Financial Architecture Work for Development;' and the Report of the Working Party on the Strategic Framework and the Programme Budget on its 72nd session. The UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) serves as the Secretariat for the Board.
