The 19th meeting of the Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention (CRIC 19), a subsidiary body to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), was expected to take place at the end of 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will take place virtually from 15-19 March 2021.  

The CRIC assists the UNCCD Conference of the Parties in reviewing the implementation of the Convention, under the authority and guidance of the COP and as an integral part of the Performance Review and Assessment of Implementation System (PRAIS).
