Ahead of the Special Event to Follow-Up Efforts Made Towards Achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) on 25 September, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will host a High-Level Forum to catalyze and accelerate further action to achieve the MDGs and enrich the deliberations of the UN General Assembly (UNGA). The event will focus on concrete examples of scaling up and identifying opportunities for more such success.
