18-20 November 2015 New York City, US
UN High-Level Water and Sanitation Days

This series of coordinated events on water and sanitation includes the Second Special Thematic Session on Water and Disasters, the UN World Toilet Day and the final meeting of the UN Secretary-General's Advisory Board on Water and Sanitation (UNSGAB). The Session on Water and Disasters will develop messages and recommendations for major UN conferences, including the Paris Climate Change Conference and Habitat III. World Toilet Day aims to inspire action and underscore the urgency of ending open defecation, especially for women and girls, and will focus on sanitation and nutrition. The New York event will focus on how improved sanitation supports better nutrition and improved health.
During its final meeting the UNSGAB will share its final report and recommendations on advancing water and sanitation objectives in the post-2015 era with the UN Secretary-General and the UN System Chief Executives Board for Coordination.
