UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2024

The UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2024 will bring together business leaders, UN officials, government leaders, SDG stakeholders, and civil society representatives to review the private sector’s contribution to advancing the SDGs. The Summit will convene during the UN General Assembly (UNGA) High-level Week and will take place in conjunction with the Summit of the Future.

The 2024 Leaders Summit will provide global sustainability leaders with the tools, networks, knowledge, and inspiration needed to scale the impact of private sector contributions to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The UN Global Compact will be challenging the private sector to commit to the ambitious Forward Faster targets and guide companies to deliver progress towards their targets year after year.

The day-long event will address, among other topics, innovation in financial markets, corporate water stewardship, artificial intelligence (AI) and corporate responsibility for human rights, global climate goals and corporate investments for climate ambitions, sustainable supply chains, sustainable consumption and production, and innovation and transformative solutions for the SDGs. The event aims to inspire and challenge organizations to ambitious, credible, and measurable targets aligned with calls to action in five areas where the private sector is best positioned to drive progress across all 17 SDGs: living wage; climate change; water stewardship; gender equality; and SDG investments.
