This event is being organised by the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Government of Slovakia, and the UN Global Compact, and is part of the second round of consultations for UN Development Group's post-2015 process. This meeting, the European Regional Consultation, will convene under the theme “Doing Good to Do Better: Successful corporate strategies that benefit society,” and will seek to explore how European industries can best contribute to the emerging global sustainable development agenda of the UN, both on a local and global scale.
