Transport Day at COP 21

Jointly organized by the Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport (SLoCaT Partnership), the Bridging the Gap Initiative (BtG Initiative), and the Michelin Challenge Bibendum (MCB), Transport Day 2015 will offer an opportunity for international experts on transport and climate change to discuss the contribution sustainable, low carbon transport can make to climate change discussions. The programme includes panel sessions on: collaborative actions towards ambitious transformations; vision for an efficient, largely decarbonized transport sector by 2050; challenges in significantly decarbonizing by 2050; sustainable transport action announcements; sustainable transport champions; and keeping sustainable, low carbon transport on the international agenda after COP 21. The SLoCaT Partnership is hosted by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN-DESA).
