Together We Can Do More: Citizen-Generated Data for Inclusive Data Ecosystems

An event themed, ‘Together We Can Do More: Citizen-generated Data for Inclusive Data Ecosystems,’ will convene as part of the Fourth UN World Data Forum 2023. The session will discuss the power of citizen generated data (CGD) to promote social inclusion and foster participation, transparency, and accountability.

The International Civil Society Centre, in collaboration with the Danish Institute for Human Rights, the Statistics Division of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), UN Women, World Bank, PARIS21, and the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD), will co-host the session.

The UN World Data Forum aims to spur data innovation, nurture partnerships, mobilize high-level political and financial support for data, and build a pathway to better data for sustainable development. Read the Earth Negotiations Bulletin (ENB) coverage of the Forum here
