This expert working group of the Basel Convention is expected to consider the intersessional work undertaken to further elaborate and implement actions on short-term work items for implementing environmentally sound management. The group will also: consider its draft work programme for additional priorities and key work items and actions; and report on its activities and submit its work programme to the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the Basel Convention for consideration and adoption at its twelfth meeting in May 2015 in Geneva, Switzerland. This meeting is being funded by Germany and Switzerland.
