This meeting of the Ad Hoc open-ended informal working group to study issues relating to the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity beyond areas of national jurisdiction is convened in accordance with General Assembly resolution 63/111, paragraph 127, of 5 December 2008, and paragraph 146 of resolution 64/71 of 4 December 2009.
