The first phase of the preparatory process for the global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration will include a series of six informal thematic sessions, organized by the UN General Assembly (UNGA) President. The third thematic session will convene from 19-20 June 2017, at the UN Office in Geneva, Switzerland, and will address, 'International cooperation and governance of migration in all its dimensions, including at borders, on transit, entry, return, readmission, integration and reintegration'.
