Third Clean Energy Ministerial

The Third Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM3) will bring together over 20 participating countries to discuss progress made by the 11 CEM clean energy initiatives, increased intergovernmental cooperation, and public-private partnerships in support of clean energy deployment. The CEM is an initiative of the Major Economies Forum (MEF), which was established in early 2009 to facilitate a positive outcome of climate change negotiations at the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. The 23 governments participating in CEM initiatives are Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, the European Commission, Finland, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Norway, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, the UK, and the United States.
