The International Labour Organization (ILO), the Economic and Social Development Commission of Korea (ESDC) and the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar institutions (AICESIS) are jointly organizing a conference on “The role of ESCs-SIs and the social dialogue in the implementation of a social protection floor for all”. AECESIS members from 70 countries will participate in the conference, which will exchange experiences and good practices on the role of social dialogue institutions in elaborating national strategies and policies on social protection floors. The two-day conference aims to develop the capacity of economic and social councils and similar social dialogue institutions to effectively negotiate and build consensus on social protection policies.
