The International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA) aims to promote the conservation and sustainable use of all plant genetic resources for food and agriculture and the fair and equitable sharing of the benefits arising out of their use, in harmony with the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), for sustainable agriculture and food security.  

The tenth session of the Governing Body (GB 10) of the ITPGRFA will address items on general policy and implementation of the Treaty and the MLS, and administrative and budgetary matters.
