A technical discussion of issues related to Articles 5, 7 and 8 of the Kyoto Protocol, including an update of the conservativeness factors for adjustments (contained in Decision 20/CMP.1), will be held on 7 November 2014, in Bonn, Germany. The workshop is organized by the UNFCCC Secretariat, based on a request by the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice at its 40th session (SBSTA 40). It will seek to facilitate a technical discussion among experts from interested parties, taking into account a technical paper prepared by the Secretariat and any submissions from parties.
