The World Ocean Council (WOC) is partnering with the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute (SWFI) to advance investment in the sustainable development of the world’s oceans. WOC and SWFI will bring together the institutional investment community and the ocean business community to discuss opportunities for supporting a sustainable ocean economy at the annual SWFI Institutional Investor Forum. On the 22 February, the Forum will feature an ‘Ocean Day’ programme with panels on aquaculture, renewable energy; port/coastal infrastructure resilience and adaptation; and investment opportunities in small islands and the Caribbean.
