The Sustainable Development Impact Summit seeks to advance the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement on climate change by providing a multistakeholder platform for concerted action. Through this Summit, the World Economic Forum will work with leaders from government, business, academia and civil society who will be present in New York during the opening of the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 72) to: Increase the impact of existing multistakeholder initiatives; Catalyse new partnerships and alliances; and Explore how the advanced technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution could be better leveraged for sustainable development.
The Sustainable Development Impact Summit is taking place during Global Goals Week.
