Sixth Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts

The sixth meeting of the UNFCCC Executive Committee (ExCom) of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts (WIM) is expected to discuss, among other issues: supporting the implementation of the Paris outcomes through the Clearing House for Risk Transfer and Task Force on Displacement; recommendations to improve knowledge and capacity to address slow onset events and their impacts; development of activities for the ExCom’s five-year rolling workplan; awareness raising, outreach and sharing of information; and the ExCom’s report to the 23rd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 23).
