Organized as part of the UN Decade of Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All) 2014-2024, the Sixth International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development will consider how to operationalize the Hammamet Declaration (signed by the Executive Secretaries of the UN Regional Commissions in support of energy efficiency, renewable energy and energy access). The Forum will also host workshops and training courses on: Energy Efficiency in Buildings; Business Planning for Renewable Energy Investments Projects; Access to Energy in Remote Areas; Energy Portal for Asia-Pacific; and the Energy Efficiency Industry Accelerator. In addition, an expo with a focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies, products and solutions will be organized. The Government of Armenia, UN Regional Commissions, UN Development Programme (UNDP), Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) and UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) are co-organizing the Forum.
