The seventh meeting of the UNFCCC Standing Committee on Finance (SCF) will meet in Bonn, Germany, from 16-18 June 2014. During the meeting the SCF will be invited to consider: a working draft of the biennial assessment and overview of climate finance flows (BA); the draft technical paper on the fifth review of the financial mechanism; approaches to financing for forests; draft guidance to the operating entities of the financial mechanism; and its work plan for MRV of support beyond the BA. The SCF will also be invited to recommend next steps for linkages work with the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) and the thematic bodies of the Convention.
