The seventeenth meeting of the Board of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) will take place from 5-6 July 2017, in Songdo, Republic of Korea. An informal working meeting of the Board open to active observers will take place from 3-4 July at the same venue. The meeting's agenda includes items on: the report on the activities of the Co-Chairs, including the updated Board work plan for 2017; the report on the activities of the Secretariat; the reports from committees, panels and groups; matters related to guidance from the Conference of the Parties (COP); the sixth report of the GCF to the COP, including the biannual report on privileges and immunities; matters outstanding from the sixteenth meeting of the Board, including the implementation of the initial strategic plan for the GCF and facilitating an increase in proposals from direct access entities; update on the development of policies related to anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism; analysis of barriers to crowding-in and maximizing the engagement of the private sector; and readiness and preparatory support.
