Second World Symposium on Climate Change Communication

This event will focus on the challenges in communicating climate change across various audiences by addressing climate change communication research and practice. It will seek to catalyze further action to better communicate climate change by showcasing replicable experiences from research, field projects and best practice to foster climate change communication among various settings and audiences.

The Symposium is organized by: the World Sustainable Development Research and Transfer Centre (WSD-RTC) of the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany; Manchester Metropolitan University, UK; University of Graz, Austria; and the International Climate Change Information Programme (ICCIP), in collaboration with partners. An interdisciplinary event, the Symposium will mobilize scholars, social movements, practitioners and members of government agencies undertaking research and/or executing projects on climate change communication around the world.
