The African Ministerial Conference on Meteorology (AMCOMET) will hold its Second Task Force Meeting on 26-28 May 2014, back to back with its Second Bureau Meeting on 29-30 May 2014, both in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Task Force and Bureau will discuss: the constitution and rules of procedures; the African Regional Space Programme; the draft Implementation Plan for the Integrated African Strategy on Meteorology; and the feasibility of establishing a regional climate centre in Central Africa. The World Meteorological Organization (WMO), with the support of the African Union (AU), hosts the AMCOMET Secretariat, which is helping facilitate the meetings.
