Organized under the theme “Get your right to a healthy community” by the secretariat of the UN Economic Commission on Europe's (UNECE) Protocol on Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers (Protocol on PRTRs) to the Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters (Aarhus Convention), the secretariat of the UNECE Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution (Air Convention) and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus. this workshop aims to promote the implementation of the Protocol on PRTRs and explain its synergies with data collecting and reporting under the Air Convention and its protocols.
