The Working Group on Energy Efficiency of the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA) will focus its second seminar on improving energy efficiency in Central America on the issue of improving energy efficiency in transportation, particularly multimodal transportation. Experts from Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama and the US will share their experiences in promoting energy efficiency in multimodal transport. The Seminar is being organized on behalf of the Working Group by the Organization of American States' (OAS) Department of Sustainable Development, with support from Mexico's National Commission for Efficiency Energy Use (CONUEE), the Institute of Science and Technology for Development of Guatemala's Rafael Landivar Unniversity and Italy's Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP).
