A second session of the Preparatory Committee for the Third International Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) is expected to develop the draft post-2015 DRR framework. In addition to negotiations on this document, technical workshops will convene to address: indicators, monitoring and review process for the post-2015 framework; and integration of disaster risks in financial regulation. The Chair is also expected to hold two dialogue sessions with major groups. The Third International Conference on DRR will be held in Sendai, Japan, in March 2015.
