The Second meeting of the Convention on Biological Diversity’s (CBD) Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Benefit-sharing from the Use of Digital Sequence Information (DSI) on Genetic Resources will convene in August 2024.

At its 15th meeting in December 2022, the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the CBD established an ad hoc open-ended working group on benefit-sharing from the use of digital sequence information on genetic resources, to undertake further development of the multilateral mechanism and make recommendations to the COP at its 16th meeting. This meeting will be the second meeting of the Working Group.
