The second session of a plenary meeting to determine the modalities and institutional arrangements for the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) will take place in Panama from 16-21 April 2012. The plenary is convened by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) in cooperation with the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and other organisations. The deadline for registration (see website for registration form) is 31 January 2012.
