Second Global Conference on Strengthening Synergies between the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development [Postponed]

On 6 March, the UNFCCC Executive Secretary announced that, after careful consideration and with considerable regret, the UNFCCC secretariat will not hold any physical meetings in Bonn and elsewhere between 6 March and end of April. This decision is in response to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.

The second Global Conference on Strengthening Synergies between the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was originally scheduled to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 2-3 April, and was being organized by the UNDESA and UNFCCC Secretariats, in partnership with the European Union.

The first Climate and SDGs Synergy Conference took place from 1-3 April 2019, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The SDG Knowledge Hub summary of that event is here
