The UN General Assembly's Second Committee (Economic and Financial) will meet informally to discuss, as a tentative topic based on the Chair's road map of 26 January, the 'Relevance and impact of the work of the Committee in contributing to the international development objectives,' addressing the role of the Second Committee in the emerging architecture for the follow-up to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Addis Ababa Action Agenda (AAAA), the Paris Agreement on climate change, the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), the Programmes of Action for countries in special situations, and the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF).
