SDGs Learning, Training and Practice

The 2020 edition of the SDGs Learning, Training & Practice special event is a series of capacity building and knowledge workshops that will take place during the 2020 meeting of the High-level Political Forum for Sustainable Development (HLPF). The event will feature workshops focusing on enhancing capacity of stakeholders on the six entry points showcased in the 2019 Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR):

  • Human well-being and capabilities;
  • Sustainable and just economies;
  • Food systems and nutrition patterns;
  • Energy decarbonization and universal access;
  • Urban and peri-urban development; and
  • Global environmental commons.

It will also include sessions focusing on strengthening capacity and promoting partnerships for the SDGs.

This HLPF special event event is co-organized by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DESA/DSDG) and the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
