This event will take place as part of the Engagement Group track for the 2018 G20 Leaders' Summit, which is to be hosted by Argentina at the end of 2018.

The G20 confers with a set of engagement groups, which comprise civil society organizations from the G20 countries that represent different sectors of society. Each engagement group is independent and chaired by one of its national members, and each group develops a set of policy recommendations that are formally submitted to the G20 ahead of the summit. Argentina has selected the theme, 'Building consensus for fair and sustainable development,' for the 2018 G20 Leaders' Summit, and has identified three key issues for the agenda: the future of work, infrastructure for development, and a sustainable food future.
