The Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) regional meeting on Strategic Approach to Chemicals Management will be the eighth in the series of SAICM regional meetings and completes the global coverage of SAICM regional meetings. The LAC meeting on SAICM is being held in collaboration with the UNEP Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNEP ROLAC), under the sponsorship of the Governments of Sweden, Switzerland and the United States.
